Climate March September 17!

Climate Action Rhode Island is renting a bus to NYC so Rhode Islanders can participate in the March to End Fossil Fuels: a climate march to the United Nations followed by a rally and protest on Sunday, September 17. The protest will precede important UN climate meetings happening that week. Numerous groups and individuals are gathering from all over the east coast and well beyond. This is gonna be BIG! This march will send a loud message to world leaders at the United Nations that they must act to end the production and burning of fossil fuels. By attending this march you can be part of a massive event that will bring world-wide attention to our movement. The protest will run from 1 pm to 4 pm. Our bus will leave Providence first thing in the morning and return home in the evening. There will be an alternative bus pick-up and drop-off at Rt. 117 in Warwick. A donation toward the bus of $25 is suggested, or whatever you can afford. We'll provide a CARI T-shirt to all participants! Please register ASAP to claim your seat and make sure we reserve the right size bus!
