MLK-Day March for Education

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."

--the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Now, more than ever, there’s a need for equity in eduction,” said Jennifer Lima, co-president of Toward an Anti-Racist North Kingstown (TANK) at its January 17th March for Education. “It’s important that children everywhere are taught the importance and history of racial injustice in our country and how it still impacts today."
