North Kingstown horse featured on front page of the Boston Globe!

Don't we all love a story of a local kid who made it big? Well how about a local horse - specifically, Lenny the Percheron from New Deal Horse and Carriage in Saunderstown. Owners Julie and Jack Kliever were thrilled when a Boston Globe reporter called to do a story on Lenny's in-demand niche job at a Baraat horse, a tradition in South Asian weddings where the groom arrives at the ceremony on a decorated white horse amidst music, drumming and dancing guests.
